The Quiet Invitations

On noticing what arrives when you finally say yes

Hi there,

This week, something unexpected happened.

A woman I hadn't spoken to in over ten years reached out. No particular reason. Just a quiet impulse to reconnect.

We talked for a while — about life, about transformation, about what we're each creating. And by the end of the call, I realized: this wasn't random.

It was an invitation.

I've been noticing this more and more lately.

The conversation that arrives right when you needed it. The song that plays at exactly the right moment. The person who crosses your path and says the thing you've been waiting to hear.

We call these coincidences. But I'm not sure they are.

I think there's a kind of language that exists underneath our planning and logic.

A language the body already knows how to speak.

It shows up as a pull. A flutter. A sense of yes before you can explain why.

Most of the time, we override it. We're busy. We have plans. We tell ourselves we'll follow that thread later.

But what if later never comes?

What if the invitation has a window — and we keep missing it?

I've spent a lot of my life ignoring these quiet signals.

Too practical. Too cautious. Too worried about what people would think.

But something has been shifting in me lately. I'm learning to trust the pull — even when I don't have all the answers yet.

And the more I trust it, the more invitations seem to arrive.

I wonder if you've been feeling this too.

A quiet tug toward something you can't quite name.

A longing to reconnect — with your body, your creativity, your aliveness.

A sense that something is trying to reach you, if you could just slow down enough to notice.

If that's true for you, I want to share two doorways.

You don't have to know exactly what you're being invited toward.

You just have to notice the pull — and be willing to follow it.

Sometimes the body knows before the mind catches up.
