A 6-week somatic journey to come home to your body,
reclaim your aliveness, and remember who you were before you forgot.
Whether you danced for years and stopped, or have always longed to move but never felt "ready"—this is your invitation. Not to perform. Not to get it right. But to finally give yourself the chance you've been waiting for.
May 13 – June 17, 2026 • Live on Zoom
Apply for Your SpotYou used to dance—and you miss the aliveness, the freedom, the feeling of being fully in your body. Somewhere along the way, you stopped. Life happened. And now there's an ache where movement used to be.
You've always wanted to dance but never gave yourself permission. You told yourself you weren't "the type," weren't coordinated enough, weren't young enough, weren't enough. But the longing never left.
You've been living in your head—overthinking, overworking, over-functioning—and your body has become a stranger. You're tired of feeling disconnected from yourself.
You sense there's something deeper waiting. Not just stress relief or exercise, but a remembering. A coming home. A reclamation of something you lost or never fully claimed.
If any of this resonates, you're in the right place.
This program was created for you.
You've given yourself the gift of returning—to your body, to your joy, to the part of you that's been waiting.
You wake up feeling more at home in your skin than you have in years
You've released old tension, old stories, old "not enoughs" that were living in your body
You have a daily practice that actually feels nourishing, not like another thing on your to-do list
You trust your body again—its wisdom, its desires, its signals
You've experienced the sacred in movement, not just exercise
You've danced in community with others who get it—no performance, no judgment, just presence
You know, in your bones: you ARE a dancer. You always were.
"This isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about remembering who you've always been."
Guided somatic movement experiences where you'll release, remember, and reclaim your body's natural wisdom. Each session builds on the last, taking you deeper.
Wednesdays, 7:00–8:15pm ET via Zoom
Video teachings and embodiment exercises to support your journey between sessions. Designed to deepen your practice and anchor your transformation.

Built-in rest • No Zoom that week
You won't be alone in this. You'll journey alongside a small group of others who are also returning home to themselves. Witnessing and being witnessed is part of the medicine.
Private group space for connection

We begin by laying the foundation. You'll explore your relationship with dance, uncover limiting beliefs, and discover the difference between a fixed and growth mindset. You'll also receive your Daily Dose of Dance practice—a simple, joyful way to reconnect with movement every day. This week is about giving yourself permission to begin.
We explore the body-mind connection—how dance enriches your physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual well-being. You'll discover the science behind why movement heals, and begin listening more deeply to your body's wisdom. This is where you'll feel the shift from thinking about dance to embodying it.
A sacred pause. No live session this week—just space to let everything land. Continue your Daily Dose of Dance, journal, rest, and allow your nervous system to integrate what you've been experiencing. Sometimes the deepest transformation happens in the stillness.
Now we unlock your creative spirit. You'll explore storytelling through movement, work with archetypes, and reconnect with your innate creativity—the part of you that may have been dormant since childhood. Dance becomes a language for expressing what words cannot.
We expand outward—exploring how dance connects you to yourself, to others, and to something greater. You'll experience dance as a bridge to deeper relationships, community, and even spiritual transcendence. This is where movement becomes a way of living.
We close the container with reflection, acknowledgment, and celebration. You'll look back at your transformation, honor your journey, and set intentions for how dance will continue in your life. You'll leave knowing: this is just the beginning.

I'm Kristen Mangione—dancer, somatic guide, and creator of Dance Alchemy.
For over 20 years, I've been exploring what happens when we stop performing and start listening to the body. I've danced professionally, taught in studios and Zen monasteries, and guided thousands of people back home to themselves through movement.
I created The Chance to Dance for anyone who's been waiting for permission to return—to their body, to their aliveness, to the part of themselves that remembers what it feels like to be free.
This work isn't just what I do. It's who I am. And I would be honored to guide you home.
With love and rhythm,
Kristen
These words come from real people who took the leap—some returning to dance after decades, others moving for the very first time.
"I started dancing when I was 4 years old and pursued it as an adult. But it had been years since I'd been in a structured setting to move. To reconnect to my essential spirit and my body has been so refreshing. Having the chance to dance again in a loving, nurturing environment has opened my heart and soul newly. I leave every module inspired and hungry for more creativity and dynamic expression in my life."
— AnneReturned to dance after years away
"I had forgotten how much joy dance once brought me. During the course, I couldn't resist the urge to twirl—it took me back to dancing waltzes with my father, feeling weightless and free. For the first time in years, I let myself feel that much fun and ease. It's undeniable that dancing lifts my mood and heightens my energy. This practice has even opened up other avenues of creative expression I never allowed myself to explore."
— MargaretReconnected with joy she thought she'd lost
"This has helped me so much! I'm an introvert by nature, but here I felt accepted and empowered. It was amazing to feel free and open. Kristen has given us tools that make us stronger and more compassionate people. It's a wonderful gift."
— Tara C."I'm celebrating the reclamation of what makes me 'me.' I'm not ashamed of who I am or how I think—instead, I'm celebrating my unique self. This is a huge boost to my confidence, and I can feel it spilling over into other areas of my life."
— Donna F."I experienced a range of emotions and was reminded to trust my instincts. The biggest shift I observed was that when I am balanced, I am more likely to recognize and trust my intuition."
— Sarah B."The entire experience was gentle, yet powerful. I haven't moved so gracefully in such a long time. I felt as if I were ribbons swirling in the wind. I was totally focused on just being in the moment, expressing myself with movement—free and flowing."
— Lois P.This isn't a course you buy and never finish. It's a living container—a sacred space held for your transformation. That's why enrollment is by application only.

Absolutely not. This program is designed for anyone—whether you danced professionally for 20 years or have never taken a single class. There's no choreography to learn, no steps to memorize. Just guided movement that meets you exactly where you are.
Dance Alchemy isn't about flexibility, fitness, or how your body looks. It's about how your body feels. Every movement can be adapted. You'll never be asked to do anything that doesn't feel right for your body.
You're always invited, never required, to have your camera on. Many people dance off-camera or position their camera so only part of them is visible. Your comfort and safety come first—always.
All sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours. While there's something powerful about being live, life happens—and you'll have lifetime access to everything.
Live sessions are 75 minutes, once per week. The Daily Dose of Dance practice is just 5–10 minutes. Modules are self-paced and can be done whenever works for you. Total: about 2–3 hours per week, adjustable to your life.
No. Dance Alchemy is a somatic movement practice, not therapy. While deep emotions may arise (and are welcome), this is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you're navigating acute trauma, please consult with a therapist to determine if this is the right time.
The application process exists to make sure this is aligned for both of us. If after our conversation it doesn't feel right, there's no pressure. And if you begin the program and realize it's not for you, we'll talk.
I'd love to hear from you. Email me at hello@givemedance.com and I'll personally respond.
You've been waiting—for the right time, the right invitation, the right permission. This is it. Your body is ready. The question is: are you ready to say yes?
